Talitha Koum HM + Barrier Body Cleanser and TM Body Balm

I received these products from the Picky App and Talitha Koum in exchange of my honest review.

Talitha Koum HM + Barrier Body Cleanser

Gentle body cleanser that removes skin impurities without stripping the skin, it is suitable for all types of skin, especially dry and sensitive skin. This body cleanser has vitamin A, B, B1 and C, also minerals, protein and amino acids that help strengthen the skin barrier. It also has BioDTox which has citrus bioflavonoids, broccoli extract and aloe leaf extract.

I really wanted to like this product and it worked for the first 2 weeks, after that my skin started to get drier and itchy. Don’t get me wrong is a beautiful gentle gel cleanser, little to no scent, but is not hydrating enough for me skin. I noticed a lot of dry patches around my arms, and I needed to apply more body balm due to this. To be honest a hydrating cleanser should not make me want to slather on more products since it left my skin feeling drier.

Talitha Koum HM + Barrier TM Body Balm

Suitable for all skin types, especially dry skin, fast absorption, nourishing and smoothing. Leaves skin supple, healthier, and not sticky. Cream has antioxidants, vitamin A, B, B1 and C, minerals, proteins, and amino acids that repair the skin barrier. Some key ingredients are Nilotica shea butter which is a rare East African shea butter harvested from 20-year-old trees. It is full of vitamin A, E, F, K and catechins. Evening primrose oil to hydrate the skin, Olive oil and jojoba oil to nourish and moisturize.

I love the non-greasy finish and how it absorbs into the skin, but sadly my skin doesn’t feel fully hydrated and I need to apply more lotion.

I used the products on my son to see if it would work for him, but the same thing happened, and he even had more keratosis appear. Glad I had the chance to try the products, sadly they were not for me.
