I have been using this Huxley Secret of Sahara sleeping mask for the past 2 weeks and it is a staple in my night routine. I have dry skin and it's worse when winter is around the corner, so I must double up my skincare routine. This cream has cactus extract, prickly pear seed oil which are great antioxidants and hydrators, centella asiatica great for soothing skin, SC-Glucan to reinforce skin barrier and hyaluronic acid to help retain moisture. One other key ingredient is Ceramide NP, like the SC-Glucan helps with retaining hydration whilst helping the skin barrier.
While I have used sleeping packs before, usually with a very thick, heavy feeling on my face, this one surprised me by the light, watery texture it has. I was sure it was going to be thick, but in fact it is a light gel with a slight floral scent and a non-sticky feeling. I must admit that while the instructions say that you only need a dime size amount, I use more. I love using it in a quick/lazy routine, meaning toner, ampoule, serum, eye cream and sleeping cream. That is the easy way, the lazy one is just using the sleeping cream 2 times by itself before going to bed.
Yes, that is how much I like it! My skin feels hydrated, non-greasy and best of all not dry which is what I need. I enjoy how it helps retain the moisture, my dry patches are not visible, and my skin looks better overall in appearance.
