I have been using the Pyunkang Yul Calming Moisture Barrier Cream for around a week and I am in love. Skin tends to get drier with the cool weather coming back and my skin just hates it, to the point that it cracks. Trying to find products to soothe and hydrate my skin are sometimes difficult for me, because they soothe but don’t hydrate, but this is not the case with this cream.
It contains ceramide, hyaluronic acid, centella asiatica, tea tree extract and lonicera japonica flower extract. As you can see these key ingredients all scream hydration, which is great for dry sensitive skin. Ceramide and Hyaluronic acid help the skin retain moisture and protect the skin barrier, as for the centella asiatica, tea tree extract and the lonicera japonica flower extract are all soothing, antimicrobial ingredients to help with acne. I was surprised that it has tea tree extract, which has a strong scent, but the cream doesn’t have any aroma. It has a light creamy texture almost like a gel, it mixes and absorbs fast with a hydrated finish, not oily or dewy. While the product helps with tightening pores, improving skin texture, in the short time I used it I saw an improvement in oil control, softer skin and less dry spots.
