I have a hard time to trying to find a foundation that fits my needs. I like one that has medium to full coverage but looks natural. Seems like I am asking for a lot, but it is going to be on my face. I usually use cushions but as we know most of them are light coverage. I decided to get the Sephora brand Make no mistake foundation and concealer stick because it said it was medium coverage, great for what I was looking for. Not only that is for combination to oily skin and has a matte finish, again suitable for my type of skin which is combination.
I have used this foundation many times, I love the coverage, the natural look of it throughout the day, my face does not get super oily, but it smells like pure oil. Is like opening a container of cooking oil, very off putting, it does go away and does not linger. Still is not the best scent to come off a foundation, I suspect it maybe the castor oil and sunflower mixed. It does have cranberry and pomegranate seed oils to help soothe the skin for great makeup application.
Aside from the smell, I am still using it because the coverage is great and looks natural which is what I was looking for. Is a creamy formula, goes on smooth and does not settle into my fine lines and does not rub off on my hand when I touch my face. Sadly, is currently out of stock, hopefully it does not get discontinued, even if the smell is not great the foundation is.
